Renegade Romance Shop Orders
I am nearly caught up on shop orders. If you have yet to receive a shipping notification for your shop order, you should have one within the next few days.
March - April Boxes: Ruby Dixon:
We shared an update across our socials on May 23rd. For anyone who missed it:
Quality takes time. I know how much Ruby is beloved, and I personally love the Risdaverse tremendously, as do so many of you.
Unfortunately, we are pushing the shipping timeline once more to accommodate the standard of quality that Renegade is known for, as well as supporting the health of Renegade's artists. I can promise you that you will be overjoyed with these editions and they'll become some of your favorites.
However, I completely understand that delays are upsetting and situations may change. Should you want to cancel your order, please email help@renegaderomancebox.com and we will process your request and refund the order as soon as possible.
As a reminder: questions and/or concerns should be directed to Renegade at help@renegaderomancebox.com, not Ruby or Conky.
In response to a comment asking about the updated projected shipping time: I am looking at next month, however I don't want to commit to a specific date until books have arrived at the Renegade office in the event of any further unforeseen delays (even if by a single day).
Lily Mayne Reprint + Continuation:
I know everyone is excited (me too!) but I want to give you a bit behind the scenes so that you can better understand the timeline.
The first batch of books are expected to arrive next week (June 3rd). Because of the quantity of books (multiple thousands) required to fulfill the reprint + continuation, this is going to be done in waves. The Rycke, Wyn and Gloam are ordered. Printing takes additional time due to the quantity ordered and the foiling (per the printer). The printer can only begin after I've approved the physical proof, and foiling being even slightly off requires editing and new proofs. I am committed to the high quality of Renegade editions.
These orders are also delivered by freight. While Renegade does have an office I work out of it, its location is nothing short of awkward, making deliveries by lift truck nearly impossible. Because of this, every book order I receive has to be delivered to my house. From there, I unload the pallet of boxes into my car to transfer to the office via multiple trips.
All of this factors into the timeline of my getting you your books. I love what I do, however, I need everyone to understand I am quite literally one person doing it all.
It is my hope that shipping for the Lily Mayne boxes will begin in June. The initial estimate for shipping was late Spring, so this is not far from that original timeline.
Everyone who has requested an address change prior to shipping will have that processed before labels are printed.
Canada Post Strike:
We are aware of the current situation with Canada Post. We will be sending packages as normal for the time being, but should the workers go on full strike all packages will be held until the situation is resolved. However, this means there is a risk that some packages may be stopped in transit should there be a full strike. We will of course replace any packages lost or damaged in transit. If you are in Canada and prefer to have your shipments held for the time being, please email us and we'll be happy to accommodate your request.
We will keep an eye on the situation as it develops and adjust as needed. We will not be using private couriers at this time as they charge high fees on delivery and we support workers' rights.
Book Harvest Event Exclusives:
It was announced that we will have three event exclusives for Book Harvest. We are excited to be working with C. Rochelle, Heather Nix, and Chelsey León. Preorders will open in early June for each, and will be announced across our socials first.
I know this was a lot, but I hope it helps answer a few questions. Thank you for your excitement, your patience, and continued support of Renegade. I am eternally grateful for it all.
